Man, what is it with foreigners and candy?? I mean - not like I'm complaining or anything - but think about it. You get dressed up for halloween, people give you candy. Christmas, some big fat guy in a suit brings you candy, plus there's all that cake and sweets you have at parties. You get chocolate for Valentine's day (some people... more than others....) -- and again for Easter?

Thinking about it.....

That's one big hit of candy every two months, for about... six months solid. That's like, half a year of candy!!! No wonder Americans are so fat, all they eat is sugar!



Buuuutttt it's almost time for hana-matsuri! Hey partner - we're doing something, right? I bet the parks won't be too crowded for a while yet, we should skip class sometime and take our lunch with us.

Oh the same reason as you, mimic the old jealous witches, go around asking for treats in return for blessing the house with branches.
