twinknife[on the other end of the line is kind of a thin, nervous quiet, that stretches out for a long time until it's punctuated by a long, shaking sigh. yosuke's voice comes through as a whisper.]
...... Does anybody hear that? The voices.. sound like they've stopped.
[rustling and creaking, like someone crawling up off the floor.]
Like it was all 'day of the dead' out there until like, five minutes ago..? I can't even hear the wind anymore....
.......
Maybe..... it's over... Maybe those things went back to-- ... wherever it is they came from?
I wonder if it's safe to go out....?
[rustling.]
..... Huh. That's weird, I can see the wind blowing, but I can't hea---[the signal is interrupted by a sudden, loud burst of static that trails off into a stacatto, interspersed by snippets of sound: a roar of wind over a high, shrill scream]
